Meet Dayna & Julia


DAYNA DUNBAR, M.A. is an award-winning novelist published by Ballantine Books. Her novels have received great reviews and fantastic blurbs from bestselling authors like Fannie Flagg and Lorna Landvik. They were also selected to be part of the esteemed Ballantine Reader’s Circle. Her first novel, The Saints and Sinners of Okay County, won the Oklahoma Reads Oklahoma Book Award, which was also given to Billie Letts, bestselling author of Where the Heart Is.

In addition to being a novelist, Dayna is a memoir ghostwriter and writing coach who loves helping people bring their lives to the page. She brings her experience writing autobiographical novels to her ghostwriting. In addition to being a gifted storyteller, creating compelling narratives from her clients’ life stories, she has an uncanny ability to enter their experience and write from their point of view and unique voice.

Dayna has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Communications from the College of Santa Fe and a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in California, where she was awarded Student of the Year along with best-selling author and TV show host, Iyanla Van Zant.


JULIA PADAWER, M.A. is a coach, collaborative writer, interviewer, and editor who partners to create original material in everything from film to fiction and facilitates others in sharing their life stories.

Julia’s ability to craft powerful stories was honed during her prior career as a successful advertising executive, where at 25, she became one of the youngest vice presidents ever at one of the largest advertising agencies in the world. Known for creating breakthrough strategies and campaigns, she has won prestigious advertising awards for blue chip clients such as Citibank, American Airlines, and The Weather Channel.

Drawing on her background as a transformational life purpose coach and certified yoga and meditation teacher, she is able to facilitate others with a deep level of compassion and insight that allows them to access their experience and articulate their story in a way they never thought possible.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Women’s Studies from Northwestern University and a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in California, from which she graduated with Honors, and where she and Dayna met and began their creative collaboration.
